Supported Employment Fills a Need

Unity House’s Supported Employment program has successfully coached and helped place dozens of people in local businesses. What is Supported Employment? Part coaching, part educating and part matchmaking, the goal is to help people living with disabilities find and maintain gainful employment. The program is a supportive environment that helps people master both “soft” and “hard” job skills. Participants are loyal, flexible, and eager to contribute in a job.
