Spring Means Basics for Babies

Our Basics for Babies program helps hundreds of struggling families to provide for their infants and young children.

With support from generous donors, Unity House provides countless amounts of clothing, bottles, blankets and other basic infant supplies to parents in need. We have a rotating stock of supplies such as diapers, formula and baby food, baby gates, activity sets and diaper bags. Last year our Basics for Babies program was also able to help families with cribs, toddler beds, highchairs, strollers and car seats and we hope to do the so again this year. At our community resource center parents can also access co-located services such as our food pantry, our midday meal program and other community resources.

Our support comes from people who know that a gift to the Basics for Babies campaign helps families struggling to make ends meet. Some of the most basic things that babies and toddlers need are costly or not available with food stamps.

Basics for Babies helps ensure the most fundamental kinds of safety and nutrition and is an investment in a child’s future.

You can help a baby to curl up for a good night’s sleep with a full belly and a dry diaper. You can help parents sleep better knowing their child will be clean, safe and fed.

Want to help and be a part of Basics for Babies? Consider a gift and help make a difference.

From all of us at Unity House, and especially the children we serve, thank you.

We want to give special thanks to Frank Pitts of Architecture+, his partners and employees. They are the the lead sponsor of our Basics for Babies Campaign!  With their help and yours, we can help even more families this year.
