Special Education Teacher (Unity Sunshine Program)

Provide special education services to children that are in keeping with best practices of the field and using age appropriate materials based on the interests and learning style of each child.  In collaboration with the child-care staff, manage a classroom or provide services at an off site collaboration or in a home.  Educate, care and advocate for all children enrolled in the program.     Bachelor’s degree in Special Education plus provisional New York State certification required (or ability to be certified).
