Since 1971, The Unity House's Emergency Services / Street Ministry program has provided food baskets at Thanksgiving and Christmastime (including a gift for each child) to area families who face the holidays without adequate food. The menu includes meat, produce and other assorted food items, things a family needs to help them enjoy a holiday without adding undue stress to already limited budgets. 

Each year the need for this service increases. In 2001, Unity House distributed over 1100 food baskets during the two holidays to low-income families in the community. With your help, we intend to do the same or more in 2002.

 Your contribution of: 

$70    Will feed a local family of four at both holidays. 

$105  Will provide three families with a Thanksgiving meal.

$175  Brings holiday food and hope to five families at
Christmas.

$385  Empowers 11 single parents to bring food to the table
with their dignity intact.
