The Unity House Adopt a Family Program is in need of individuals and groups interested in “adopting” children for the holiday season. With the help of an adult, children fill out a list detailing two wanted items and two needed items. The lists are then adopted out to donors willing to shop for some of the items on the list.  Donors can expect items to range in price between approximately $5-$25.  Donated gifts can be delivered to Unity House at 2431 Sixth Avenue by December 12th so that they can be distributed out to the families of the children.

Not a shopper? Consider a monetary donation directly to our Adopt a Family Fund, or a donation of gift cards to accessible stores such as Price Chopper, Target, Walmart, Gamestop and others. Our program can also use loose, unwrapped toys for a holiday shop where qualified parents can “shop” for their children.
