Unity House is proud to be a part of the conversation: join us to meet award winning author Matthew Desmond, who wrote ‘Evicted’. His work speaks to the issues around extreme poverty and economic exploitation among the most vulnerable.

Mr. Desmond will be at Page Hall at the Downtown SUNYA campus to offer an informative lecture and discussion on his book. Based on years of embedded fieldwork and painstakingly gathered data, this masterful book transforms our understanding of extreme poverty and economic exploitation while providing fresh ideas for solving devastating, uniquely American problem.

Where: Page Hall at the downtown SUNY campus
Registration is necessary

Event is free, but advance registration is required. Please check the website for the Community Foundation of the Greater Capital Region, which is handling registration. Registration portal is expected to open mid-summer.
