A six part series to empower individuals and families with the skills to stretch their food budgets and cook healthy meals so that everyone gets nutritious food at home.
Sponsored by NYS Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance, Cornell Unitversity Cooperative Extension, and USDA SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program, formerly known as food stamps), the series will be conducted at Unity House’s Bethany Community Meals.
Bethany seves breakfast and lunch daily at Unity House’s Front Door, a community resource center located at 2431 Sixth Avenue in Troy. The dates of the program are Tuesday, May 19, 26, June 2, 16, 23 and 30th. Attendees of all six workshops will get a certificate of completion.
Many thanks to the program sponsors for bringing this fun and interactive series to Bethany.
