DESCRIPTION:A virtual event\nJoin us- online! At a safe distance! as we Tak
 e Back the Net\, a twist on Take Back the Night Events.\n\nTake Back The N
 ight (TBTN) is the earliest worldwide movement to stand against sexual vio
 lence\, particularly violence against women. Events began in the 1960’s 
 as protests about how women were not able to be safe walking down the stre
 et alone. Currently\, TBTN events occur in countries across the world\, wi
 th more locations taking a stand to raise awareness each year.\n\nThis yea
 r many TBTN events have been canceled. One in five women and one in sixtee
 n men are sexually assaulted while in college (National Sexual Violence Re
 search Center). Unity House's Domestic Violence Services program will hold
  a TBTN virtual event open to all community members with an emphasis on aw
 areness raising and collaborating with our local colleges. This event will
  go live on Zoom\; taking place at 7:00PM with programming outlined until 
 9:30PM.\n\nCheck-in online at our Facebook page.
