DESCRIPTION:A Child's Place at Unity House is proud to form a team for the 
 Capital Region Buddy Walk. The Buddy Walk\, set for Sunday\, September 29t
 h in Schenectady's Central Park\, is to raise awareness of\, and support f
 or\, individuals with Down Syndrome. The Unity House team for the Buddy Wa
 lk is made up of staff and friends\, a network of preschools in Troy and A
 lbany\, NY.\n\nA Child's Place at Unity House provides early intervention 
 and pre-school developmental services in speech/language\, physical and oc
 cupational therapy\, psychological consultation and general skills. These 
 services are delivered to children from birth to five in three settings: a
  traditional preschool and toddler group center-based program (which inclu
 des integrated classes)\, other preschool/daycare programs\, as well as in
  homes.
