SUMMARY:Youth Center Grand Opening and PEACE Project Open House
DESCRIPTION:The Kathryn Allen Building: fun for all ages\nUnity House's Kat
 hryn Allen Building at 6 102nd Street will host a free\, community event f
 or youth of all ages. There will be a  bounce castles\, games\, a basketb
 all free throw contest\, and more.  The goal is to showcase the Youth Cen
 ter at the site\, as well as promote the PEACE Project.\nPromoting PEACE a
 mong those most at risk\nThe PEACE program is designed for youth ages 12 -
 17 and focuses on preventing and reducing youth gun and gang violence. PEA
 CE stands for prevention\, education\, awareness\, community\, and empower
 ment. Working within Unity House and operating out of our Domestic Violenc
 e Services program\, the PEACE program has access to the Youth Center. The
  space is a sanctuary where youth can have safe\, engaging\, and inclusive
  experiences with their peers and adults.\n\nThe event on Saturday\, June 
 17th is free. All community members are welcome.\n\nFor more information\,
