ReStyle, the Unity House thrift store, is now located on River Street, in the Flanigan Square building, across the street from the Bargain Grocer.

About our Thrift Store

ReStyle offers clothing, shoes, and accessories for the whole family. Anyone can shop at ReStyle, and those with an urgent need and no resources to purchase items can seek assistance through Unity House. Eligible guests can obtain a voucher, allowing them to shop in ReStyle and select exactly what they need, free of charge.

If you or someone you know needs clothing or other life essentials, please visit Unity House’s Front Door Community Resource Center at 2431 Sixth Avenue in Troy or call (518) 274-2607. Vouchers are not available at the store.

Monday and Friday  9:00 am – 2:00 pm
Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 9:00 am – 6:00 pm

ReStyle gladly accepts cash or Visa, MasterCard, and American Express for payment. All Sales Final. ReStyle cannot accept returns or exchanges.

About Donations to our Thrift Store

The store relies on donations of gently used items. If you have an item to donate and are not sure it is something we can use, please call the store and ask if your donation can be put to good use: (518) 203-7906

For clothing, we ask that items be clean and ready-to-wear, free of any stains or tears. Please do not overwhelm staff and volunteers by dropping of multiple loads of items. We ask that donations be in season, as most people are not shopping for sweaters in the summer. The only exception is coats. In the colder months, we see a great need for coats so we accept clean coats at any location, at any time of year.

About Volunteering at our Thrift Store

The store is an important part of the community, offering a space for those who seek to learn or improve job skills and for those looking to volunteer. If you would like to volunteer, either in ReStyle or in another Unity House program, pleas learn more about our Volunteer Onboarding Process. Generally, a volunteer applies, learns more at a required orientation where they submit to a confidential background check, and find the right option for them.
