Students from Columbia High School’s Varsity Football team volunteered at the Unity Sunshine Program’s Albany location for a pep rally in anticipation of Super Bowl 50 this weekend.
Children in the program, ranging in ages from 3-5 were treated to mock training drills, football cheers and chants. The children also had fun making football themed crafts and art projects in the days leading up to the team’s arrival. It was great gross motor skill development disguised as fun! Children learn through play and a great time was had by all.
Many thanks to the team and their coaches for a great day at Unity Sunshine.
