Thank you

What a year!

It’s been hard on everyone, but we couldn’t be prouder of the amazing workforce of Unity House, which adapted just about everything to make service delivery safe for staff, guests, and volunteers in a time of COVID-19.

As an essential service, Unity House never closed to our consumers because of COVID-19: people need access to services and many new people found us during trying times. The services of Unity House are, in so many ways, essential.

Adapting

Much of the Unity House workforce is spread out, working in shifts, or working remotely/mobile. It’s been a challenge, but gratifying to see teams come together to get important work done. We wanted to show our appreciation and sing their praises from the rooftop! But our singing voices are a bit rusty and, for insurance reasons, we aren’t allowed on the roof…. so we did the next best thing: we told them how much we appreciated them.

We have been celebrating our amazing Shining Stars here at Unity House – our employees. To help us recognize them some very generous local businesses and individuals donated prizes we raffled off to employees. Without their support, our employee recognition efforts would not have been the same. We thank these local businesses for their support. When you patronize these local businesses, talented artists, and craftspeople, if you can, please recognize the generous support they give to Unity House and others. We are grateful to live and work in such a wonderful place!

Big Thanks:

Thank you again to our employees and thank you to these amazing artists and companies!
