Unity Sunshine Program supports Buddy Walk

The Buddy Walk is a community walk to support the educational programs, social services and health resources provided by the Down Syndrome Aim High Resource Center, a division of the Center for Disability Services. Unity House’s Unity Sunshine Program was a proud supporter of the Buddy Walk, forming a team of teachers, therapists and friends to walk in the event, which was held in Schenectady’s Central Park on Sunday, September 27th.

In addition to walking the Buddy Walk route, staff and support professionals were on hand to showcase the services and options available at the three Unity Sunshine Program locations, two in Troy and one in Albany. Spaces are available in this daycare and preschool program, which serves children ages 6 weeks to five years. For more information on the services of the Unity Sunshine Program, including early intervention and developmental screening, please call (518) 2743234.
