Hold the CLOTHES!

Thrift Store Temporarily Closed

Our store is a great resource where shoppers can find gently used clothes, shoes, and accessories. Prices are low or, for people in need, often free of charge in the form of a voucher.

The store is temporarily closed while we pack up merchandise and move to a dedicated storefront in the same neighborhood. During this transition, we ask that people hold off on bringing in donations.

Look for ReStyle in its new location in June

While we don’t have an exact date, we hope to open up in our nearby dedicated storefront at some point in June. Stay tuned by checking our social media, or our website. You can also call us at (518) 274-2607.

Thank You!

We appreciate your patience during this transition. We are grateful for the items people donate to Unity House. Once we are able to accept donations, we ask that people consider these guidelines to ensure we can make the most of the clothes, shoes, and accessories that they wish to donate:

  • Make sure clothing and accessories are clean and ready to wear, free of any rips, stains, or needed repairs.
  • In-season clothing is best. The only exception is coats. During the colder months, the demand for warm outerwear is high, so we accept clean coats in all sizes and styles throughout the year.
  • Manageable quantities are best. If it’s too much for you, it’s too much for our volunteers and staff to process!  Please be mindful not to overwhelm our intake area.
  • Not sure if your donation is an item we can use? Call us!  We are happy to discuss what items we can and cannot accept, and we can offer suggestions about where to donate an item that we cannot put to good use.

Want to make a monetary gift to help offset costs? Please consider a gift to our Community Resources program, which helps with life’s essentials.

On behalf of the people we serve, thank you for thinking of Unity House.
