Good Neighbors

The Old Brick Furniture Company is consolidating their business at their Albany location. It looks like exciting things are planned for their former Troy space, but before that could happen, they needed to clear out the showroom. That’s when they thought of Unity House.

Old Brick donated several beds, box springs and bedframes to Unity House’s Housing Services programs. These gifts are a welcome addition in our community residences, where adults with mental illness live as independently as possible in a community housing setting. Having quality items helps make our house a home and offers dignity to residents. It’s apparent that Old Brick agrees and has been a big help in donating furniture and supporting Unity House through sponsorship. We are grateful to have had such good neighbors over the years.

Unity House is grateful for Old Brick’s support and will make good use of these generous donations. The next time you stop in their Albany showroom, please pass on our thanks to Old Brick. Even though they will be a little farther away, we know they’ll still be good neighbors to Unity House.
