Join us for our public ribbon cutting, at our new site for Unity House’s Domestic Violence Services Program
When: Thursday, October 20th
Where: 97 Fifth Ave., Lansingburgh. It is at the intersection of Second Avenue and 102nd Street, next to the Family Dollar store at 82 2nd Ave.
Time: 10:15 AM
We will cut the ribbon on the new site and name the building the Kathryn Allen Building. Kathryn Allen was a steadfast supporter of programs that help people in need, in particular survivors of intimate partner violence. Please join us for this special occasion.
Did you know? October marks Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention Month. Purple is the signature color that calls attention to the issue and serves as a beacon of hope for those who may be suffering in silence. The new site is accessible and provides better access and collaborative workspace for the program, including the Unity House Law Project.
