Unity House’s Front Door at 2431 Sixth Avenue has a new neighbor. Conifer Park is a Schenectady-based treatment services group that has been serving the Capital Region since 1983. Originally started as a licensed inpatient treatment facility for alcoholism, Conifer Park today is one of the largest and most comprehensive treatment facilities for addiction in the northeast, with locations throughout NY state and beyond.
The group provides a full range of services ranging from medically supervised detoxification, adult and adolescent rehabilitation, intensive outpatient services, as well as medication treatment assistance. As per their website, they work with the majority of commercial insurance companies, hospitals, etc. and are licensed by the NY State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services (OASAS.)
Claire Hughes, of the Albany Times Union, stopped by to see the newly remodeled home of Conifer Park. You can see her TU article here.
Unity House looks forward to seeing the neighbor building to our north fully occupied, and welcomes the staff and clients of Conifer Park.
