Second Annual Conference Slated to be Web-Based

A virtual event featuring a weekly series in the month of October, Domestic Violence Awareness Month.

For Thursday, October 8th, the topic is: Trafficking in the LGBTQ Community

An interactive webinar platform allows attendees and presenters to engage with each other in a meaningful way to create awareness, all while remaining in the comfort of their homes or offices.

The conference is free and all are invited to participate in weekly, interactive webinars held during the month of October, which marks Domestic Violence Awareness & Prevention Month.

Thursday, October 8: An Overview of Elder Abuse
Thursday, October 15: Trafficking and Immigration/Refugee Services
Thursday, October 22: Elder Abuse and Asphyxiation. Also, Wear Purple Day*!
Thursday, October 29: Give Away! Live Panel Q & A

LMHC CEUs offered for qualified attendees.

*Purple is the signature color of domestic violence awareness. The Wear Purple Day will be on Thursday, October 22.

About Unity House’s Domestic Violence Services Program:

The program offers safe space to all victims of domestic violence. The aim of the conference is to bring awareness to the issue of domestic violence and highlight the resources available when addressing the issue, discuss the needs of survivors, and promote the community collaborations needed to end domestic violence.
