October Marks Domestic Violence Awareness: Wear Purple!

Join Unity House’s Domestic Violence Services program staff and friends as we honor survivors of DV, the community collaborators who are a vital part of addressing the needs of victims of intimate partner violence and the volunteers who make such a difference through caring service.

Many thanks to the Arts Center of the Capital Region for hosting the DV Awareness Event and for hosting client artwork, stories and poems.

This will be a very special evening and we look forward to celebrating two very special recipients: Theresa Weinman of Albany Medical College will receive the Volunteer Leadership Award and Barb Michalski of National Grid will receive the Coordinated Community Response Award.

This event starts at 5 pm and ends at 8 pm, with podium speakers at 6 pm.
